Trying out Tapa King

Trying out Tapa King

July 04, 2010

While waiting for my sister and her husband (James), we decided to eat a late lunch here at the condo at the nearest place and it was Tapa King. It is rare for me to eat at Tapa King (I think only twice or thrice in my whole life) because I find them expensive for the meals they have and let me show you why.

Tapa King – PHP 125.00

The original tapa flavor and it tastes good. I was able to finish my rice without finishing my viand so that I can eat it like something for dessert.

Tapa Queen – PHP 125.00

Spicy! I’d rather have my tapa just the way it tastes, thank you.

Their basic meal contains:

  • 1 serving of Tapa
  • 1pc Garlic Rice
  • 1 Fried Egg
  • 1 Atchara (pickled papaya?)

and it already costs PHP125. I don’t know about you but since I can eat the same type of food at Chades Tapsilogan or at Loly Ely’s Tapsilogan at a much cheaper price, this won’t always be at the top of my list when I’m looking for a place to eat.

Although it still makes me wonder, what makes them expensive?

Till next time,

Allen
