Midnight Mercato Food Trip
Hungry at the end of our shift, I saw a post in Facebook about Mercato Centrale’s Midnight Market so I asked Jessa if we can go for a midnight snack. A few minutes later, we were already getting out of the car and started doing rounds to find what we wanted to eat. We arrived at around 1:30am and given the array of grilled food, roast beef, burgers, rice meals, cakes, cupcakes and other desserts, it was a challenge which dish to try out.

Samgak Kimbab (PHP 85) from Mr. Kimbap []
failed in opening this properly but enjoyed eating this to-go snack
Mozzarella Pepperoni Cheese sticks (PHP 100) from Johnny Steams [https://www.facebook.com/JohnnySteams]
Not your ordinary cheese sticks as this is bigger and more filling. It’s like eating pizza with a different shape.
Chicken Pesto (PHP 100) from Wrap Battle [https://www.facebook.com/wrapbattle]
Liked the grilled chicken but the pesto flavor simply overpowers the gyro.
1/4 Pound Burger (PHP 90) from Monster Burger [https://www.facebook.com/pages/Monster-Burger/118793591533450]
It was big but the patty was bland and didn’t have that beefy taste.
4 Flavors Pizza (PHP 260) from Stop Over Pizza [https://www.facebook.com/StopOverPizza]
Go for the Terimayo Chicken flavor (lower right) as it deserves the label, bestseller. The others were just so-so. Just note that their sauces have strong tastes so it might shock your tongue.

the bigger slices are not that crunchy anymore but still delicious like bacon
We didn’t order any rice meals that night so that calls for a return. Overall, our hunger was fulfilled but we weren’t that satisfied compared to our Best Food Forward experience.

You should try Big Bob’s Burgers in Mercato! Tried them last night and they were really good. They have mozzarella cheese inside their patties
