Max’s Restaurant Dinner – Lechon Kawali, Shrimp Gambas and Pancit Canton

The last time we ate at Max’s Restaurant was when we tried out their Lenten Dishes and that was really a pig out. We had all three of the Lenten dishes , crab meat fried rice plus an order chicken sisig (which we didn’t like that much since it had too much mayo). Now back at the present, we had an impromptu dinner at Max’s and we made sure to try out dishes that we haven’t tried before from their menu.

Max’s Restaurant Sago’t Gulaman – PHP 72
Too bad this doesn’t come with rice because with the generous servings of the Sago and Gulaman in a sweet syrup, it would already fill your tummy. Another thing to note: Unlimited!

Max’s Restaurant Lechon Kawali – PHP 274
Crunchy all over except for the small pieces of fat that didn’t escape my plate.

Max’s Restaurant Shrimp Gambas – PHP 275
Shrimp in crab fat (aligue). It was just so so as it didn’t have something to make us go wow! You can taste the crab fat and feel a hint of spiciness but that’s it.

Max’s Restaurant Pancit Canton – PHP 182
It comes with a lot of toppings such as chicken, balls, shrimps, pork, liver and vegetables.
So that ends our belly filling dinner@Max’s Restaurant. We left with a smile on our faces while rubbing our tummy to aid digestion. Yet with these dishes we tried, we didn’t get that wow-delicious (with eyes wide open) feeling like we had on their Lenten Dishes (e.g. Caulifower Puffs! I miss you!)
Till next time,
Allen
