Burger King Swiss Angus Steakhouse Burger
I’ve always been a fan of big and juicy burgers so when I saw the Steakhouse Burger from Burger King, my eyes lit up with curiosity. I said to myself, I should have a taste of this burger so afternoon we went to Burger King to eat (gladly, we had the same burger craving at that time).
But before we go to the actual burger, I just want to mention that I like the value meals of Burger King where you can get fries or onion rings, drinks where I always choose Hi-C and a free sundae. Now going back to the steakhouse burger…
The Steakhouse Burger (PHP 200) contains the following layers:
- Crispy Onions
Upon first glance, I noticed that the patty was flat but wide which made much bigger than the bun. Although the patty was bigger than their normal burgers; the flatness made it feel small. Flavor-wise, I believe it a bit similar to their normal burger which I guess was due to the steak sauce which tastes similar to the sauce they use on the whopper. The patty may have been made from Angus beef but since it was dry, I couldn’t feel the Angus-ness from it. I did like the added crunch from the crispy onions though.
So overall, I can say that it was good but not what I expected.
