Buddy’s Pancit Lucban Longanisang Lucban at Kesong Puti Supreme Pizza
I’m easily satisfied and it doesn’t take much to make me say WOW on pizza. Allow me to share my simply rules. First, it needs to have generous amounts of cheese and when I say generous, the color on top should be more yellow than red. The second rule would be on the crust. It should not be hard to chew nor too thick as one of the best ways to ruin a pizza experience would be a crust that overpowers the toppings and frustrates the pizza eater. The third rule? I’m still thinking about that but these two rules should suffice for now.
When we had our dinner at Buddy’s, Jessa and I ordered their Pancit Lucban and their only pizza flavor with the word Lucban in it; Longanisang Lucban at Kesong Puti Supreme Pizza. First rule = check! This pizza was very cheesy and I’m guessing that they used two kinds of cheese: (1) quick melt cheese and (2) kesong puti (cheese made from Carabao milk). Every bite was cheese goodness with a hint of sweetness from the ketchup flavor that they used.
The main ingredient here would be the longanisang lucban and in each pizza slice, you would get a half of it. It would seem weird to eat at first (pizza and longanisa?) but upon first bite of it, my doubts just disappeared and we were both in agreement that they compliment each other well. Also, second rule = check because their pizza crust was crunchy and not too thick so you would really be tasting the full flavor of the toppings and the crust was just there so that you can hold on to something.
