Buddy’s Pancit Lucban at Longganisang Lucban Revisited

Buddy’s Pancit Lucban at Longganisang Lucban Revisited

When we parked at The Link building in Makati, my parents saw Buddy’s and was curious about it. That night, when we were deciding to eat somewhere near from home, I suggested we go to Buddy’s along Kalayaan so that they could try it out. I have written about Buddy’s before (see post on their branch in The Link) and some of the dishes we ordered were similar such as the Pancit Lucban and the Sizzling Teriyaki Chicken. In this post, I’ll feature the other dishes we have ordered.

We had it chopped so that it would be easier to share. It was just normal.

I liked their marinate on the pork chop. It was a bit sweet and the pork wasn’t too hard to chew.

Buddy's Pancit Lucban Pork Sisig

I enjoyed their sisig as it was very meaty. They didn’t use pork liver in the combination. You can really savor the rich taste of the sisig and I believe the egg helped a lot. I spent most of my time with this dish.

I still showed it here because this time, I tried to eat it with the vinegar. I’m not sure how much should you pour but I just added small droplets to it. It tasted like you added calamansi to it. I’m not sure if I did it right because the flavor for me didn’t change much. Should I add more vinegar?

Overall, we enjoyed our porky dinner. We had some issues with the serving time (some took 20 minutes to be served) but the waiter was very attentive to us so it just balances out. The next time I will eat here I’ll make sure their sisig is on my plate.

Till next time,

Allen
